I've been a freelance copywriter for over 15 years, serving large and small—primarily high-tech—clients with a broad range of printed and digital marketing materials. In addition to having solid writing skills, clients tell me I'm easy to work with, highly responsive, detail-oriented, and deliver great copy on time. Before going freelance I spent 7+ years in Marketing Communications at Apple in Silicon Valley.
In a past life I also wrote and published first-person essays in regional and national publications including Runner's World, Cosmopolitan, the Los Angeles Times, Girls' Life magazine, and a multi-year stint as a columnist for the San Jose Mercury News.
I'll always be a California girl at heart, but for the past 10 years I've made the East Coast my stomping ground on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay where I like to run, cook, read, and hang with my husband and kids (and the dog my kids talked me into getting several years back even though I am not a dog person).
